Ashok Gehlot is a veteran Indian politician from the Indian National Congress (INC) party who has had a long and influential career at both the state and central levels. Current Status: Gehlot is a sitting Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Sardarpura constituency. He served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for three non-consecutive terms (1998–2003, 2008–2013, and 2018–2023). Background: Born on May 3, 1951, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Gehlot holds B.Sc., M.A. (Economics), and LL.B. degrees.
