CM Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma: Effective implementation of MoUs under ‘Rising Rajasthan’ is a key pillar of Viksit Rajasthan CM directs officials to ensure groundbreaking of MoUs worth INR 1 lakh crore in July month

Jaipur, 11 June: Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma today said that the MoUs signed under the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 are continuously getting implemented on the ground due to the investment-friendly policies of the government. Shri Sharma said that the commencement of ground-breaking of MoUs worth INR 3.25 lakh crore has given new impetus to the progress of the state. The Chief Minister also directed the officials to ensure the commencement of ground-breaking of MoUs worth INR 1 lakh crore in the month of July through mutual coordination and continuous follow-up with the investors. Shri Sharma was addressing the officers during the monthly CM-level review meeting on the implementation of MoUs signed during the investment summit. Shri Sharma reviewed the progress on the implementation of MoUs under various departments during the meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence on Wednesday. Directing the Secretaries of various departments to be in constant touch with the investors and hold regular review meetings, Shri Sharma emphasized on the need to expedite the response and approval mechanism for the investors. CM directs officials to give final shape to pending policies by July 31 The Chief Minister said that the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit is proving to be a strong pillar in realizing the dream of Viksit Rajasthan. The Chief Minister said that the investment summit has created an extremely favorable environment for industries in the state, facilitating the investors’ access to various amenities and simplified processes. He directed the officials to give final shape to the pending policies by July 31st. He also gave orders to the officials to ensure that the notifications of the already launched policies be issued by June 30th. CM directs regular follow-up on implementation of MOUs signed at district level Talking about the significance of land availability in the implementation of MoUs, Shri Sharma directed the District Collectors to prepare Land Bank of available land parcels at the district level. He also ordered the Department Secretaries to take a progress report on the implementation of MoUs at the district level. He also directed the district in-charge secretaries and department officers to regularly review the progress on the implementation of MoUs signed at the District Collector level. The Chief Minister also ordered the formation of a high-level committee to expedite the process of land availability to the investors by identifying the land requirement for MoUs signed for various types of projects. During the meeting, Shri Sharma reviewed the progress on the implementation of MoUs under various departments such as Urban Development and Housing (UDH), Tourism, Information Technology and Communication, Civil Aviation, Agriculture and Mines Department. Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant along with Department Secretaries of various departments and senior officials were present in the meeting.
