Jaipur , 11 september. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Government of Rajasthan is gearing up to host First Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas on December 10, a landmark initiative aimed at strengthening ties with the global Rajasthani diaspora and harnessing their expertise across key sectors. The event will serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and recognition of contributions made by the non-resident Rajasthani’s in fields such as education, healthcare, tourism, industry, and water management. To build momentum for the daylong event, a series of National and International Pravasi Rajasthani Meets / Roadshow are scheduled to take place in cities including Hyderabad, Surat, and Kolkata, as well as abroad UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi). These roadshows are planned to encourage maximum participation from the diaspora and foster meaningful ties for the overall growth and development of the state. Thematic sessions led by the distinguished experts and the diaspora members who have made notable contributions in their respective domains are also planned for the event. Special frameworks are being developed to connect these individuals with policymakers and stakeholders, with the goal of driving investment, innovation, and inclusive growth. To deepen emotional and cultural ties, a short film titled Panch Gaurav will be showcased during the event, highlighting the heritage and pride of all districts of Rajasthan. Additionally, diaspora members who have excelled in social, economic, and industrial sectors will be honored as Pravasi Rajasthani Samman Award (PRSA) for their achievements. Chief Minister has emphasized the importance of timely and coordinated preparations, directing officials to appoint nodal officers for each sector and establish strong communication with Rajasthan-origin officers serving in other states and countries. This initiative reflects Rajasthan’s commitment to building a global network of collaboration and celebrating the enduring spirit of its people—wherever they may be.
